The booster club is looking for members to support a range of positions.  Annual elections are held at our April Board of Director's meeting, vacant positions may be filled at any time.  All meetings are open to the community. Board Positions:

Chair: As the chief executive of the Board of Directors, the Chair is responsible for convening and presiding over all regularly scheduled board meetings. They also prepare the agenda for all Board of Director and Executive Board meetings and ensure that all organizational resolutions are carried out.

Vice Chair: The Vice Chair acts as an assistant to the Chair and assumes the duties of the Chair during his/her absence upon request.  Attendance required at monthly Board of Director and Executive Board meetings.

[Open 2024-26] Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for keeping records of all Board actions, overseeing the taking of minutes at all Board meetings, sending out meeting announcements, agendas, and minutes. Attendance required at monthly Board of Director and Executive Board meetings. *This essential role is easy to combine with another such as team coordinator or concession season lead.

Treasurer: Attendance required at monthly Board of Director and Executive Board meetings.

Concessions Director:  Oversee concessions and admissions during the school year.  Work with Treasurer to set budget in fall.  Select product for sale and set pricing modifying as needed to maintain profit margin.  Work with Volunteer Director to set shifts for regular games, section games, meets, plays and tournaments.  Work with season leads to maintain organization and cleanliness of the stand.  Ensure all concessions equipment is in good working order.  Update stand processes and procedures and communicate with concession team as needed.   Responsible for keeping the stand stocked and submitting receipts. Monitor and remove expired/recalled product.  Keep signage and Square POS up to date adjusting per season/event.  Coordinate event concession specials with Event Director.  Coordinate tournament needs with AD.  Report to the board monthly. *This is a critical role as it provides the majority of booster revenue.

[Open 2024-25] Events Co-Director: Work with Events counterpart to oversee and plan Pack the Stands events and the End of Year Awards Ceremony. All events are well documented including checklists.  Experienced committee members and ERA staff are available to help.  Supplies are ample. 

[Open NOW] Communications Director - Responsible for sending all booster communications including events, elections, meetings, volunteer needs, concessions, Eagle Eye, Summer Launch Packet flyer, EBC website graphics, etc.; social media graphics.  Maintain a promotions schedule for all forms of promotion (print, social media, morning announcements, email, flyer hand out, etc.), emailing marketing director at ERA to request ERA emails, social media, and flyers hung up at ERA. Pro Canva account is supplied as well as endless gratitude.

Sponsorships Director: The Sponsorship Director oversees the implementation of the existing sponsorship plan and ensures the fulfillment of all sponsorship benefits.

Concessions Leads(4): Responsible for opening/closing and training shift volunteers for admissions and concessions at home games/tournaments/shows. Approximately 12 dates or less required. Training provided. Lead is not responsible for working the shifts and may watch all of the games. Fall (Volleyball Lead), Winter (2) (Boys Basketball Lead, Girls Basketball Lead), Spring Lead [Open 2025] (covers baseball & spring play)

[OPEN ALWAYS] Members at large - If you are interested in contributing to the cause but don't wish to hold a board position, consider becoming a member at large and join a committee [Events, Concessions, Sponsors, Finance] or volunteer for a shift on our volunteer page.

Many roles can be shared with others or modified to suit your skill-set and schedule. As a board made up of volunteers, we understand conflicts come up, and we help and support each other across areas to get the job done.  Whatever your role, we guarantee the time spent is fun and rewarding!
